I would just like to announce that K and I just got done playing an hour and a half marathon of Uno Attack. I won the first and the last game. And really those are the only two that matter. Everything in between is just mush so.... thanks for playing K, but next time BRING YOUR "A" GAME!
I came home the other night feeling daring and wanting to be sweet to my K. Somehow this led me to want to cook! K can probably count on his hand the number of times I've cooked, I mean really cooked, for him in the almost 5 years we've been dating. Sad I know. :( I think the saddest thing is that I can actually cook just fine, I just never do! K cooks the most amazing meals so why would I want to take that away from him and make something that's not nearly as good?!
And of course I had to have a snack while cooking. Oh how I love my bro for introducing me to Roasted Raspberry Chipotle sauce over cream cheese with ritz crackers! Mmmm...
Color variety is important. As long as there's green I'm good.

Sorry i didn't a picture of the finished product. :( It pretty much looks like the above but with browned crumbled crackers. :)
I also thought I'd be extra sweet and make him some cupcakes. :D How can anyone say no to a cupcake? Even the word is cute! (again no picture of the finished product) :T
All in all I would say dinner was a success!
:'( Thank you all for the sweet condolences over last night's game. I think, though, for K and I's sanity and everyone's safety it's better if we just not bring it up again... ever... not even next year. We need to move on and mend our broken, aching hearts.
I was recently informed that I'm a de facto uncle to an amazing and "peculiar" young man. To be honest I couldn't be happier.
